A Soft Roman shade is a simple style of shade. Nevertheless, it is a very functional shade that provides privacy and blocks out the sun when needed. Pair it up with a drapery or valance for added interest. A 4-inch accent band can be added to its bottom hem if desired. As all our other shade, this shade is also installed onto a board that is covered with the face fabric. Each shade is fully lined with premium white lining. Blackout lining is optional. This shade is recommended for outside mounting. The finished length of the shade is measured from the top of the shade to the short point of the curve. This shade is upholstered to a mounting board, which is covered with fabric. The board size is 1-1/2 x 3/4 for outside or inside mount. This shade has a cord lock that allows you to raise and lower the shade to desired length. You can specify to have the cord on the right or left side. Mounting hardware and installation instructions are included. Soft Shades are designed to operate with minimum effort. You may need to adjust the fold slightly when you raise and lower them, which depends on the fabric you have selected. As the shade is used, the fabric will develop a "memory" that lessens adjustments.	View Full-Size Image
