The Shirred Balloon Shade combines fabric fullness with soft shaping that can only be created with a balloon shade. Depending of the fabric you select, this shade can fit a formal, casual or country setting. Soft fabrics work best if the shade is going raised and lowered on a regular basis. Stiffer fabrics work well if the shade is going to be mostly stationary. The fullness in the shade and the scalloped deep set folds need to be hand dressed to maximize its appearance. Pricing includes lining in either white or ivory. This shade is recommended for outside mounting. The finished length of the shade is measured from the top of the shade to the short point of the pouf. This shade is upholstered to a mounting board, which is covered with fabric. The board size is 1-1/2 x 3/4 for outside and inside mount. This shade has a cord lock that allows you to raise and lower the shade to desired length. You can specify to have the cord on the right or left side. Soft Shades are designed to operate with minimum effort. You may need to adjust the fold slightly when you raise and lower them, which depends on the fabric you have selected.	View Full-Size Image
