Somerset Valance is similar in design to the Flat Valance; however, the rounded edges give it a softer look.
Wider valances have seams where two or more cuts of fabric are joined together. If this occurs, the valance is made with a center panel and two side panels, for the best visual effect. Special care is taken to match patterns so that the seams interrupt the design as little as possible.
