It can be installed on knobs with post adapters or on a curtain rod with rings. The decorative ties are optional. For a simple, clean look, the horns can be omitted. We used a decorative contrast fabric for the horn lining, piping and ties. The swag sections are lined in decorative contrasting fabric. Trim can be added along the bottom edge, if desired. Use a drapery interlining to give the valance the best body and shape. Interlining is a flannel-like cotton fabric that hangs between the face fabric and the lining The standard finished length of the valance is approximately 19” at the swag and 18” at the horn.
