Kitchen Window Treatments

There is a vast selection of kitchen window treatments out there to choose from. In fact, it is the huge selection that makes it cumbersome to pick one. The trick to choosing the best kitchen window treatments is to think in terms of 'what's going to suit my kitchen best? There is no reason whatsoever to stick with the conventional and plain window treatments. Some of the more creative and unique kitchen window treatments are mentioned below.

Grass mat style kitchen window treatments - These are simply gorgeous and bring a sense of the tropics right into one?s kitchen. These are quite colorful and intriguing to the eye. They come in a plethora of variants. It?s a simple matter of choosing the one that suits ones tastes best. They match just about any décor and wall color. Furthermore, they make the entire room feel fresh and comfortable. These come with both trim and no trim depending on the look you are going for and your budget. They generally pull straight up by a simple cord pull.

Wood kitchen window treatments - These interior wood shutters give a country styled appearance to one?s home and kitchen. They may be painted in any color that one desires. You may buy the painted ones or sand and paint or stain them yourself. You also have the option to use distressing techniques to create a weathered, lived in appearance to pre-painted shutters. These window treatments can be opened to let all of the afternoon sun in or they can be closed to give oneself some relief and respite from the same. These are versatile and no matter what, they look gorgeous every single time. You may install these window treatments yourself or employ professional help to aid you.

Testimonials

Michael Mann told us:
I have never felt the need to rate an order before, but I was so pleased with the quality of the shades I bought that I just wanted to tell you a big THANK YOU.

TIPS:

Swags and cascades are a dramatic treatment for windows. The swag is a drape of fabric which hangs in front of the curtains; the cascades are the elegant lengths of fabric that frame the window on either side. The more formal version is fixed to a valance board, but fabric can be draped informally over a rod as the only form of window dressing. Although the formal swags look best on tall windows, dressing full-length curtains, they can be effective scaled down to suit smaller windows.
