Return Policy
Because all our products are custom made for each individual consumer, our sales are final. If you do notice a flaw in a product, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery and explain the flaw first. If your explanation points out a legitimate mistake that we may have made, we will send return labels for products that are to be corrected or reject your request. Depending on your situation, the product will either be repaired, replaced, or if we are unable to do either, your payment will be refunded as a final resort. Do not mail your product without a return label or approval first as it will not be accepted. Return shipping charges are paid by the consumer. We only repair or replace products that have flaws due to an error on our part. We at Window Treatment Center reserve the right to investigate and determine how such an error occurred. We do not accept products because a consumer has measured incorrectly, the colors don't match, the consumer doesn't need or has changed their mind about a product, or any other reason that does not show Window Treatment Center at fault. Products showing signs of wear-and-tear, stains, or products with no obvious flaws will be rejected and will be shipped back to the consumer at his or her own expense, in addition to a $10.00 to $15.00 restocking fee, depending on the size and weight of the product.
Cancellation Policy
Once an order is placed, our workroom begins to work on it almost immediately. For that reason, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of placing an order. Order cancellations must be submitted in writing - you may either email, fax, or mail a request to cancel. Your name, address and order number must be included in your request.
Fabric Samples
Always view patterns from the distance at which they will be seen in the room. By holding a sample a suitable distance from a mirror you will the right effect. Remember that small patterns viewed from some way away will merge and appear plain. Fabric samples are best viewed with the light behind them rather than facing the light. This will give a better representation of how the material will appear when hung at a window.
Color Accuracy:
Although we do our best to make sure that the colors printed on our web site are accurate, actual colors will vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. If an exact color match is required, then please request a sample before placing your order. Once you receive your sample, keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal color variations as stated by the manufacturers. In addition to the above considerations regarding color, we'd like to suggest that you order all window treatments of a given color at one time. There are sometimes slight variations between dye lots.
Inspection of Merchandise:
IMPORTANT: Inspect your merchandise as soon as you receive it and notify us immediately if the merchandise has been damaged in shipment. Also, please check to make sure that the products you ordered were made exactly as you specified when you ordered them. If you notify us that the merchandise has been damaged in shipment or was made incorrectly within 7 days of the date that the merchandise is delivered to you, WIndow Treatments Center will have the damaged merchandise either repaired or replaced at no cost to you. If you do not notify Window Treatments Center that the merchandise has been damaged in shipment during this 7 day period, we will not repair or replace the damaged merchandise at no cost to you. All damaged shipments must be signed for as damaged.
